9 Weeks!!!

I am 9 weeks and 3 days pregnant!!! yeah!! My little miracle is getting bigger everyday!! I love this baby so much already!! Jesse and I have agreed on names already!! Khloey Nicole for a girl!! and Dylan Jacob for a boy!! Whatever it is, this baby is such a blessing!!

Fetal development in pregnancy week 9:
fetus in third month Congratulations! Your amazing growing baby has been accepted into to the fetus-club, a very exclusive and exiting new stage in their prenatal development. Basically, this means the little sweet pea has graduated from swimming embryo creature to a recognizable human being! This week in particular, the irises of their little eyes can function, but (frustratingly for them?) their eyelids remain fused shut for a while yet. Their external ears are formed and their inner ears are now filled with fluid—so your little one is already developing their sense of balance. Your baby's little swimmer legs are still relatively, although other bodily developments are going forward at a nice pace: their kidney is actually functioning now, which means they’ve started urinating (this might seem charming now but wait till you have to start buying diapers!).

And how's mom doing? You’re nearing the end of the first trimester and while there are plenty of dynamic and noticeable changes going on inside of you, not many changes are noticeable to you, with the exception of a mildly bulging midline-- which doesn't look pregnant enough to stop people from wondering if you need to Having a baby is the ultimate test for your body—if you take care of your health now you’ll come out of the pregnancy on top of your health and ready to be an energetic mother lay off the donuts. Although your body might seem a little boring right now, you can expect the creeping-up-effect of weight gain as you will gain roughly 1-2 lbs gain per week (some more and some less). It’s not a bad idea to chart this to make sure you’re not over or underfeeding both of you. As you’ve entered into the Fetal Period, it might be a good time to evaluate your personal health regimen—that is, if you haven’t already. Are you eating enough protein? Remember, protein can be found in beans, soy products and nuts—it doesn’t have to be a 12 ounce sirloin! Are you sleeping well, exercising right, drinking enough (non-sugary) fluids and getting your vitamin C? Having a baby is the ultimate test for your body—if you take care of your health now you’ll come out of the pregnancy on top of your health and ready to be an energetic mother, if not, well, let’s just say, you’re increasing the chances of suffering from depression, osteoporosis, diabetes, obesity, and a multitude of little nasty viruses (think colds and flues) that good health could've beat before you even noticed they’d invaded.

8 Weeks

Unfortunately this is how I spent my Mothers day night, no more hotfudge sudaes for me and baby... it was sooo good though. I only got sick a couple times with Jordan, maybe this means it's a girl!! i feel totally different with this one too, so we will see in a couple months!!!

Fetal development in pregnancy week 8:
embryo in second month Woohoo! You've got one whole inch of baby inside of you! Your little embryo has finally reached the one-inch mark (30mm). And if it were possible to take a peek, you could actually see your tiny baby without a telescope! What’s more, your baby is finally starting to take on some very distinct human features. For starters, their little tail (really just the spinal cord) has disappeared completely. It’s nice to know your baby can no longer be mistaken for a sea creature! Additionally, both their toes and fingers are prominent with very little, if any, webbing. Upper and lower limbs all show recognizable joints (elbows and knees) and the lower limb bones are starting to ossify. But don’t expect your baby to resemble either parent quite yet. Right now, your baby’s head is disproportionately larger than the rest of their body--making up almost half of your little one’s height and weight!

God is Good!

Yesterday around 3:00 pm we found out Jesse got the job at Raytheon, his background check and drug test went through finally!! It was such exciting news!!! He starts Monday morning and will be training for the first couple months and then he will move to the night shift, which I think he will really like because he is a night owl not a morning person.

I am just sooo Thankful for everything in my life right now, we truly have an amazing God and I am blessed to have baby # 2 on the way and Jesse's new job to look forward to!!

Here's some info on my 7th week of pregnancy!!!

Fetal development in pregnancy week 7:
embryo in second month Your baby is really beginning to develop more physical definition this week – their oversized head isn’t just large and oblong anymore, it’s actually a little bit pointy. The tiny receding tail bud is now starting to be overshadowed by the growth of their legs, which are now complete with knees and the beginnings of toes. Their eyes and ears are the most visible features on their head and their miniature bones are starting to harden throughout their body. You also have some variation on a boy or a girl at this point, although their genitals won’t be visible enough to determine which color cigars you’re going to buy until around the 16th week.

Jordan is going to be a big brother!!!!

So we found out last night around 5pm that we are pregnant!!! Yeah!!! it has been a long time trying, and we are sooo excited!! God has given us another miracle!! I am about 4 weeks and 3 days along! My due date December 20th! Which is exciting because my birthday is on Christmas so that means our baby will be born around my birthday!! Yesterday Jordan had a Dr. app for his kindergarten wellness physical and, it's kinda funny cuz after he was done and we were waiting for the nurse to come in and give him his shots and said " mom and dad, how come we aren't having a baby?" I told him we just have to keep praying and we will someday. But then Jesse and I got thinking and I was a couple of days late for my period so I went to Wal-mart and got a three pack of tests. I was shocked when I watch the one line go to two in a matter of seconds!! And then another one, both positive!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!! We have an amazing God!!

Yesterday I took Jordan and my nephews and niece to a park in Solvang, it is the cutest park I have ever seen! They had sooo much fun!! Unfortunately I forgot my camera but I found some pics online to share.

Directions
From Highway 101, follow the signs to Solvang and you will be on Highway 246. After driving through the main strip of Solvang, turn left on Alamo Pintado Rd. After you pass Coyote Creek Rd turn right into the parking lot for Sunnyfields Park.

Kindergarden here we come!!

On Thursday Jordan had his kindergarden registration!! he did so good!

I can't believe my baby is going to start school already! i also signed him up for a free preschool program that starts on may 5th, i'm really excited about that because I really think it will help him ( and me) prepare for school. The school gave me a packet to work with him everyday on his Alphabet and writing his name, he already knows how to count to 30! and all his colors and shapes.

So I have been working with him everyday learning line by line of his alphabet and tracing the letters of his name. It's amazing to me how fast kids learn now! i'm so proud of my little boy!

A Prayer Request for my family

We are going through some major changes in our lives right now, and I am asking for prayers for my family. Thank you :)

Last year in June my husband was hospitalized for 2 weeks with severe dehydration and could not keep anything down. He has decent insurance but it left us with a $4,000 medical bill we can not pay. Jesse recieved a suumons from the court two weeks ago, they are sueing us for the amount we owe., they will not accept monthly payments and are threatening to take it out of Jesse's paychecks. We are barely making ends meat right now as it is so we really don't know what is going to happen.

Jesse also needs prayer for his back right now, he is barely holding on, and trying to work is wearing his body down even more. I just pray that he would be able feel better, because I know he will never be 100 % back to no pain at all.

And for me that I can possibly pick up another kid somehow to watch during the day to bring in more monthly income to pay off our medical bills, and for working at Pier 1 and watching kids, that I can keep doing this everyday because it is very exausting.

And one last one :) For Jordan, that somehow he will not be affected by what is going on with us right now, and he will be able to enjoy his first year of school knowing mommy and daddy are doing ok and we love him. He is such a happy kid, I don't want hime to be affected in any way.

Thank you very much. Whoever reads this if you could just pray for my family during this time. I know God has a plan for us and will get us through this. :)
